The Nex Playground console, a very popular machine fully focused on retro gaming and very affordable up until now, will unfortunately face a price increase in the coming days.
It has been announced that the console’s price will rise from $249 to $299 starting April 1, 2026. The Play Pass, which is the subscription offering access to over 50 games, will remain available for $89 per year (or $49 for three months).
To explain this change, the manufacturer of the Nex Playground cites, of course, the rising cost of memory and storage.
