Supernatural action RPG CONTROL Resonant will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on September 24, developer Remedy Entertainment announced.

“As he navigates a distorted Manhattan shaped by paranatural forces and shifting realities, the story explores themes of identity, power, and sacrifice,” CONTOL RESONANT creative director Mikael Kasurinen said in a press release. “Once a test subject of the FBC, Dylan must now harness his evolving abilities, confront his past, and learn to trust others in a world he was never meant to be part of. In doing so, he must rediscover his humanity—and decide what he’s willing to lose to save what remains.”
Remedy Entertainment chief commercial officer and head of publishing Johannes Paloheimo added, “CONTROL Resonant is Remedy Entertainment’s most expansive game ever, complete with incredible gameplay, narrative twists and challenging creativity that will keep old fans and new engaged and entertained like nothing we have created before. As Remedy is self-publishing CONTROL Resonant, our global marketing efforts will be just as ambitious in its execution and style, evidenced by this inclusion in the State of Play and leading us into Summer Game Fest and beyond. We will have a number of events and opportunities for fans over the summer as we move towards the game’s release on September 24.”

The CONTROL Resonant Story trailer explores Dylan Faden’s (played by Sean Durrie) dramatic journey as he is sent by the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) into the heart of a supernatural crisis. A new, otherworldly form of resonance, alongside the Hiss and the Mold, is warping the city as a mysterious cosmic force reshapes reality itself. For this mission, Dylan is joined by a new FBC ally Zoe de Vera, alongside returning fan favorites Simon Arish and Emily Pope from the original Control. With his sister, Federal Bureau of Control Director Jesse Faden, missing, Dylan must step into a role he was never prepared for—humanity’s last line of defense.
As part of Remedy’s efforts to bring CONTROL Resonant worldwide, the game will be the most localized Remedy game to date. CONTROL Resonant will feature full audio, interface, and subtitles in English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish (Spain). Additional interface and subtitle support will be available in Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish (Latin America), Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and Ukrainian.
CONTROL Resonant will also launch with support for GeForce NOW. The Mac version via Steam and the App Store will follow later this year.
