Here’s Everything Revealed During PlayStation’s State of Play For June 2026

Well, one year has gone by, and Summer Game Fest has somehow returned. The week of oh-so-many game announcement events is kicking off with the return of PlayStation’s State of Play, and we just finished watching the show, so, as always, it’s time to recap it. The blue game console brand announced the State of Play almost two weeks ago when Sony confirmed its PlayStation-focused event would feature Marvel’s Wolverine and would even kick off the show.

Alongside that, PlayStation revealed that after the segment of Insomniac’s next Marvel PlayStation exclusive, we would be getting 60 minutes of “news and announcements” coming to PS5. Sony’s State of Play is normally around 40 minutes at most, so today’s PlayStation event going over an hour and fans getting a theatre experience at Alamo Drafthouse showings made it sound like a bigger deal; going in, it basically felt like a PlayStation Showcase in everything but name.
