Nintendo has rolled out new system updates for both of its consoles. Both Switch and Switch 2 players can download update 22.5.0.
For the manufacturer’s latest console, the update simply improves system stability and adds better support for Russian and Dutch. The real change, however, is on the original Switch.
The eShop layout has been redesigned. Now, the store’s colors match those of the theme selected in the console settings, which means the Classic Black color scheme can be applied here too.
Finally, still in the eShop, it is now possible to use an identity verification code to confirm certain actions, and to skip forward or backward 10 seconds using the ZR and ZL buttons while watching a video.
