No one will be spared from the layoffs at XBOX. Indeed, despite being responsible for some big franchises such as The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and DOOM, Bethesda Softworks will also be affected by this wave of layoffs.
George Broussard, co-founder of 3D Realms (Duke Nukem), stated that layoffs have reportedly begun at ZeniMax Media, Bethesda’s parent company.
“Getting word that layoffs at Zenimax has begun. Heard rumblings recently that the cuts may be much deeper than you expect. Buckle up!”
As a reminder, Zenimax Media includes Bethesda Game Studios (Fallout), id Software (DOOM), Arkane Studios (Deathloop), and MachineGames (Wolfenstein).
