A number of new pieces of Sonic & FriendsSanrio character merchandise are about to be released in Japan, with many of the Sonic the Hedgehog items scheduled to debut on July 17, 2026. This assortment includes items like acrylic standees, bags, and towels. Flocked figures will also show up that same month. These follow additional acrylic character stands and pins that launched in May 2026. Those also featured the same six characters wearing the hats based on Sanrio mascots.
The new Sonic & Friends Sanrio character merchandise will start to roll out in Japan in July 2026, and we’ll likely see these sorts of acrylic standees, coin purses, flocked figures, purses, and towels worldwide after that.
