Released last January, the Switch and Switch 2 versions of the excellent Dispatch were subject to more extensive censorship than the versions on other platforms. As a result, AdHoc Studio has decided to address this issue with a new patch.
Available for free on the eShop everywhere except Japan, the HR Violations Pack gives access to new visual filters such as Mosaic, Black Bars, and Chaotic to hide certain elements. However, there’s a partial censorship applied by default that allows glimpses of breasts, buttocks, or obscene gestures.
On PS5 and PC, these options are provided via a simple, free patch. All three optional filters are included. By default, censorship is completely disabled. This means players will be able to see everything, including the characters’ genitals, which are hidden in the Nintendo versions.
