Between March 2025 and March 2026, the latest entries in the series collectively sold 23 million units. Resident Evil Requiem sold 6.9 million units, Resident Evil Village sold 3.6 million, Resident Evil 4 also sold 3.6 million, Resident Evil 3 at 3.4 million, Resident Evil 2 at 2.9 million, and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard at 2.6 million.
Since its inception in 1996, the Resident Evil franchise has sold more than 201 million games.
