This Tuesday, June 16, Assassin’s Creed Shadows receives its latest free update. To mark the occasion, this installment, set in Japan, is receiving new content.

Among these additions are two crossover projects in the Animus Hub. These feature themed outfits, weapons, and collectibles. These rewards apply to both Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Ubisoft has clarified that they will not be available on the Nintendo Switch 2, as the remake of the fourth game will not be released on Nintendo’s console.

“Unfortunately, these will not be available on Nintendo Switch 2 as it contains crossover content with Black Flag Resynced, which will not be releasing for Nintendo.”

For now, the French publisher therefore appears to be ruling out the title’s release on Switch 2. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be released on PS5, XBOX Series, and PC on July 9.
