
The video game industry is heading toward an absolutely chaotic summer. XBOX is set to carry out a massive round of layoffs in July, and Sony is expected to do the same at Bungie (and possibly other studios). Meanwhile, another publisher has reportedly already taken action.
According to podcaster and industry insider Destin Legarie, layoffs have begun at Electronic Arts. The first wave could be fairly modest. Several divisions within the company are reportedly affected.
EA has yet to made an announcement on the matter.
