In an effort to avoid clashing with the legendary GTA VI, expected on November 19, many publishers and studios will release their games in September. The end of this month is therefore shaping up to be extremely busy, with titles like Marvel’s Wolverine, Silent Hill: Townfall, Control Resonant, and others set to launch then.
This was also supposed to be the case for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, with a launch scheduled for September 25, 2026. However, retailer PNP Games has just changed the game’s release date. It is now set for September 4, three weeks earlier than previously indicated.
Of course, we’ll have to wait for Capcom to make an official statement to confirm whether or not this is accurate. Earlier this year, the Japanese company had already moved up the launch of Pragmata by one week.
