Halo? Starfield? Something else entirely?
With the news of Gears of War: Reloaded this week, we have confirmation of another Xbox title moving over to PS5 – as Microsoft squeezes the accelerator on its multiplatform strategy. Although this is merely a re-release of the original Gears of War (specifically the Ultimate Edition remaster from 2015), it still feels like a significant move for MS, given that Gears is one of Xbox’s flagship IP. The question is – what do you think is next?
Here at the Pure Xbox offices, we’ve been having a little of a debate on this recently. Some of us reckon that Halo will be next in some form — dropping even as early as later this year — while others think Microsoft might be a bit more cautious with its most famous franchise.
