Austin indie rock band proun will unveil their debut album this June.
Announced today, Maybe Luck will be released on June 26 via Good English Records. The 10-track album was self-recorded and produced by the band. Pre-orders for the record can be made here. A new single from the album titled “Miracles” can be heard below. Vocalist/guitarist Jamie Weed said this about the song:
“‘Miracles’ is an homage to people and experiences that may have caused me a great deal of pain in years prior that have since become points of gratitude. Living life and learning things and growing through tough situations that make being a person feel more meaningful. Not being held up by memories but embracing the complex and unique scenarios the world throws at you. I spent a lot of the last few years working on myself and getting help for my PTSD and time and care can really help so much to change perspective.”
proun will have a pair of shows in Texas this month, including a show at 29th St Ballroom this Friday.
