Crazy Taxi Social Media Has Been Brought Back To Life, Hinting At Reveal Soon

With just a few weeks until Sony’s State of Play in June, SEGA has revived the social media accounts for its iconic Crazy Taxi series. Will we get a reveal soon?

Crazy Taxi’s Facebook and X pages both posted a 5-second clip of a “TAXI” light on top of a car flickering on.

This marks the first time the series’ social media accounts have been active since 2019. Somebody finally remembered the bloody password, I guess.

Anyway, we’ve know about a knew Crazy Taxi game being in the works for a while now. SEGA announced plans to reboot the franchise in 2022. And then in 2024, job listing seemed to hint toward it a “large-scale online title.”

SEGA also recently cancelled its Super Game project and seems to be moving away from live-service. This might of had some impact on the Crazy Taxi project.
