PUCK BUNNIES: A Heated Rivalry Drag Musical Parody @ Dynasty Typewriter (2511 Wilshire Blvd.)

PUCK BUNNIES: A Heated Rivalry Drag Musical Parody has been one of the hottest new musical parodies unveiled this year. The show on Thursday will be the final Los Angeles performance, and a few tickets remain. In August, the show will hold a performance at Edinburgh Festival Fringe
Friday, May 29
Violet Grohl @ Moroccan Lounge (901 1st St.)

Singer-songwriter Violet Grohl will hold a special record release show for their debut album Be Sweet To Me, which drops this Friday on Auroura Records / Republic Records. Next month, Grohl will embark on a headlining tour along the Northeast.
Monsterpalooza 2026 @ Pasadena Convention Center(300 E Green St.
Doors: 6 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday (tickets)
Monster and horror fans will make their way to Monsterpalooza this weekend to meet folks involved with making these creatures come to life. Guests announced for the three-day convention include Kane Hodder, Sybil Danning, and Doug Tait. More information about Monsterpalooza can be found here.

UCB Sketch MiniFest @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

UCB will hold a special sketch comedy festival this Sunday feature teams from UCB, The Pack Theater, and The Groundlings. There will also be a massive clown experience known as Third Eye Clown.

Pack Theater sketch comedy teams Speakeasy and Whoops will join forces for a night of hilarity. The cast for Speakeasy features Hunter Canedy, John Dardenne, Sean Hannah, Lily Holleman, Matt Kempner, Gabi Marler, Shalimar Malimban, Matt Manser, Jordan Moeller, Vladimir Perez, Jackie Reilly, Giuseppe Restrepo, and Katie Stone. The cast for Whoops includes Joseph Dailey, Shawn Duenas, Jessy Greer, Sadie & Jack Katz, Colin Jamerson, Bethany Meagher, Andrew Mena, Amanda Romeo, Andrew Parker Scott, Lucy Slavin, Charis Tshihamba, and Gavin Velez.
