October is looking to be an active month for FPS shooters. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is just a day away from its Beta Early Access, and on the 5th, its Open Beta will start for everyone. Following it is Battlefield 6, which will release on the 10th, giving you just a day’s break between the two games.
So, to not fall behind the others, a few weeks ago, we learned that Delta Force was cooking a collab with Metal Gear Solid Delta. This is probably the best time for this crossover, as the game has been a success since its launch and only keeps improving with its regular patch updates and a new Fox Hunt free update releasing by the end of this month.
But many fans may wonder just what the developers of Delta Force could have to offer with this collab. The good news is they are working with a fan-favorite voice actor. To make things better, this isn’t just any rumor, and it’s something David Hayter has confirmed himself.
David Hayter Confirms Recording New Lines For Delta Force
In a recent X (formerly Twitter) post, David Hayter shared:
“Iconic voice acting…?”
Damn right.
—David Hayter
While tagging Tencent Games and Konami in his tweet, which was a reply to the game’s official post, which said, “Nox is about to infiltrate as Naked Snake. Proof: ✅Bandana ✅Cardboard Box ✅Iconic Voice Acting”
The main takeaway here is when X user Tim 💀 asked, “………wait what the hell did you actually record new lines??” to which David replied, “Oh yeah… #Confirmed”
Hayter fans really appreciate his return, as seen from the replies on his tweet, with all of them celebrating his return. Delta Force hasn’t revealed the date yet of when the crossover will be available, but we do know that it will be a Naked Snake x Nox collab.
It will be interesting to see how this collaboration works out for both games. Metal Gear should also benefit from it, as it could bring in some new players to try out MGS Delta: Snake Eater. Not to mention, Konami has even done a survey to let players decide the next Metal Gear Remake. So, the more new fans Metal Gear has, the better the competition it will give to Physint when it releases in the future.
