It’s no secret that everyone is hyped for any GTA 6 news – a trailer, an interview, a sneak peek, anything to be honest (I’m not desperate, I promise).
However, Rockstar Games is currently focused on promoting its Halloween content for GTA Online, and players are getting a tiny bit tired of that, asking almost endlessly for a new trailer for the upcoming main entry for GTA.
Rockstar’s Trying To Celebrate Halloween, But Fans Are Summoning GTA 6 Instead
In a recent post on X/Twitter, the studio announced that there’s a driverless Cerberus that will haunt everyone who completes “Exotic Exports” this month in GTA Online.
Which is pretty cool to be completely fair, since it’s fun and scary at the same time, but some users are impatient already and more worried about replying to it with a “where’s the third trailer for GTA 6?” kind of appeal.
“This ain’t trailer 3”, “Give us GTA 6”, and “Just drop GTA 6” are some of the replies you can read by scrolling the post – and a quite honest “I’m tired, boss, we need GTA 6”. Some are even asking for preorders already, while others are sending memes (my favorite ones), mostly with skulls endlessly waiting for any news at all.
To give Rockstar some credit, developing a game takes time (especially one as huge and promising as GTA 6), and in the meantime, the Halloween-themed content for GTA Online can actually give us a bit of distraction, since Zombie Survival Modes have returned, a variant of the Slasher Mode was introduced, and some special dates have double GTA$ and RP.
Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release on May 26, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. But it’s not the only long-awaited title for next year – take a look at some games that might steal Rockstar’s upcoming title’s thunder.
