2XKO Character Tier List: Ranking All Playable Champions

2XKO Character Tier List: Ranking All Playable Champions

The time has finally come. One of 2025’s most anticipated games, originally announced in 2019 as “Project L,” is now available for players in Early Access as 2XKO, which you can download and play on the Riot Games launcher at this very moment.

Before you hop in, though, you might be wondering which of League of Legend’s champions-turned-tag-fighters are currently topping the charts in online play. That, or you’re looking for the next character to unlock, or simply want to see where your current favorite champion ranks in the eyes of the community.

For this list, I’ve ranked all of 2XKO’s playable characters, and explained their particular strengths and weaknesses, because even the lowest tier champion on this list can bring some value into a match.

It’s also important to remember that 2XKO is in Early Access. Huge balance changes are likely to be made as the game continues testing, and the addition of new characters to the game can especially move these picks around.

The champions on this list are ranked by the value they bring to a team through their assists as well as their ability to carry as a combo’s anchor. Generally, champs who make a bigger impact on their own rank higher in this list than picks who only really work as a support.

11 Braum

The Heart of the Freljord

Much like in the parent game’s Bot Lane where he originates, Braum makes a great support choice in any 2XKO combo.

His tackle assist is strong and his ability to soak up damage, especially with the armor on his Unbreakable Shield, allows him to buy time for your carry pick to recover.

Relying on him too much to win, however, is not a great bet, as although his attacks hit hard, his poor mobility and slow windups will make it hard to land them in the first place.

Pair this with a big hitbox that makes him an easy target for strong point characters, and it’s understandable why Braum can be considered the weakest of 2XKO’s playable characters.

10 Blitzcrank

The Great Steam Golem

Like Braum, Blitzcrank doesn’t do a lot on his own, and can struggle to do much as a solo character. His assist, however, is arguably the strongest in the game, giving devastating mix-up potential and allowing you to easily control the screen.

Though Braum feels a little better on his own, a champion with Blitzcrank on his team can feel a whole tier higher, earning his spot just above the weakest champ in the game.

You should still avoid playing Blitzcrank solo or as the carry for your team, a role he can feel even weaker in than Braum.

9 Jinx

The Loose Canon

Jinx is 2XKO’S space player, using her projectile attacks and trap setups to control your position on the screen.

Like her League of Legends counterpart, however, she relies heavily on protection, and rushdown characters can easily punish Jinx’s slow setups. Projectile denial also makes Jinx particularly weak, which the game already has a decent amount of.

While Braum and Blitzcrank should basically be considered support exclusive champions, Jinx is essentially the opposite; A carry you should only play with a strong support pick as your partner.

8 Vi

The Piltover Enforcer

Vi stands out in the 2XKO roster for her engage-focussed mobility. This dash-heavy fighter can clear gaps quickly and reliably, keeping her in your face throughout the fight.

Her fast combo is also one of the best in the game, giving her a good tool to follow up her gap closing.

Unfortunately for Vi, 2XKO is a game with a lot of aerial presence, an area in which she has next to no tools to compete. While she’s strong on the ground, her air attacks are some of the worst in the game.

If she can’t manage to close the gap, her close-range nature can also leave her vulnerable to characters with good range.

7 Darius

The Hand of Noxus

Darius is a very forgiving champion to play and learn, with a high damage output designed to be simple to pick up. His Apprehend closes gaps and sets up perfectly for his powerful, easy-to-use combos.

He also has some good control of the air with several attacks that throw aerial opponents back to the ground.

While not the slowest in the game, Darius’ attacks are slow enough that more experienced players can easily exploit them with more advanced tech and a bit of confidence.

Darius is not a bad champion, but his skill ceiling is lower than others by design, a tradeoff for his accessibility. This makes him a perfect pick for the middle spot of this list.

6 Warwick

The Uncaged Wrath of Zaun

Like Vi, Warwick is an excellent gap-closer, capable of rushing enemies down and punishing them at close range with his fast attacks.

Unlike Vi, Warwick has a presence in the air, with a variety of air and anti-air attacks that allow him to excel where his adoptive daughter struggles.

Warwick also has access to Bloodlust, a powerful buff that builds up from repeated hits that give him access to new specials, attacks, and even some self-healing, making him an all-around strong champion and a good contender for the upper half of the roster.

If you’re trying to decide between Vi or Warwick for a gap-closing campion, Warwick might be a better use of your champ tokens.

5 Illaoi

The Kraken Priestess

Though she requires a bit of setup with her tentacles, Illaoi is capable of dishing out a lot of damage and doing so with combos that aren’t particularly difficult to pull off.

What’s more, her hard-hitting attacks have some pretty long range as well (once again, thanks to her tentacles) and she has the ability to lock the enemy in a corner if they aren’t careful.

As if she wasn’t strong enough, Illaoi also has some hard-hitting assists that knock enemies up or down and further interact with her tentacles, giving her some serious screen presence even when she’s swapped out.

4 Teemo

The Swift Scout

Similar to Jinx, Teemo controls the screen with ranged attacks that punish short-range bruisers or champions who give you too much space.

However, Teemo’s kit comes with a ton of screen control, escapes, and general trickery that makes him a difficult foe to lock down in the hands of an experienced player.

Invisibility, mushroom mines and poisonous darts are all classic Teemo problems that have found their way into 2XKO from League.

Now, Teemo can also quickly dash into his bushes, light them on fire, and fling his mushrooms across the screen at you, while maintaining a surprisingly solid aerial presence. This boy scout is not to be trifled with.

3 Ahri

The Nine-Tailed Fox

Ahri is a rush down champion who masters a fight with her incredible mobility, engaging or disengaging from her opponent with a ton of mobility and a solid mixture of close, mid, and long range options.

Her instant air dash makes her particularly slippery, and in the hands of the right player, other champs on this list can feel like they simply don’t have options to deal with her.

Ahri might be the first champion you play when you load up 2XKO’s tutorial, but she’s far from easy to master. Her combos require long strings of cleverly executed inputs, and often don’t feel as rewarding to master as the next champion on this list.

2 Yasuo

The Unforgiven

The last two slots on this list fight hard for first place, with Yasuo, a super technical fighter, barely inching behind. Yasuo hits hard, hits fast, and has long combos that dish out massive amounts of damage.

With some decent range on his deadly katana as well, going up against a good Yasuo can feel like an absolute nightmare.

What keeps him just below first place is that he is probably the hardest champion to master, requiring a lot of training to properly pull off. On top of that, his assists can feel less than stellar, making Yasuo a true point character.
