With the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the marathon of grinding returns as you earn those prestige ranks as well as level up your precious weapons and tools to craft the ultimate loadout/build for your multiplayer matches.
And I’d be lying if I didn’t mention how monotonous this leveling can be, since there isn’t much of a guaranteed way to farm XP in the game’s competitive multiplayer. Unless you acquire some of those dastardly XP boosters or already have them from the previous game’s rewards, get ready for a hectic uphill battle to earn XP for your account and weapons.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 New Game Mode Explained
Tired of playing the same team deathmatches, domination, and other modes common in all FPS games?
However, with the guide I’ve prepared today, hopefully I can reduce that grind a bit. Because, as it stands, with XP having a bit of a correlation with the in-game score you gain, there are a couple of ways to maximize your overall XP gains in COD BO7.
Complete Daily & Weekly Challenges
I just wanted to get this one out of the way first, since it’s the most obvious one, but also because I saw quite a few players ignore this online.
Your daily and weekly challenges are crucial to gaining a short burst of XP, enough to get you at least a level or two if you manage to complete all of them. Make sure to check them on a daily basis and always get the weekly bonus done and dusted before the reset occurs.
Be sure also to complete any Zombies’ mode challenges as well, since XP from them and the challenges available in the Campaign all contribute to your account level.
Lastly, if some of these look too overly complicated or taxing, remember that you can reroll at least one challenge of your choosing from the selection.
Play Kill Confirmed
With the information I mentioned about the score you earn being slightly relegated to XP, I strongly recommend playing the Kill Confirmed mode as much as possible via the Core Moshpit playlist.
In Kill Confirmed, your primary objective to win is to collect dog tags dropped by your opponents, and each time you pick one up, you’ll earn an additional +50 score. It isn’t much, but my point still stands that it is one of the most optimal game modes to earn slightly more XP at the end of the match.
Besides that, you can also hop into Hardpoint as well due to the match length, as well as how easily you can rack up kills in it if you play your cards right in the chaotic spree of this mode. However, I still personally prefer KC due to the pacing of the gamemode itself.

Spam Allied Scorestreaks
This is another method tied to the score you earn, but something you may not have known is how you can earn a ton of it just from optimally using your Kill streaks, specifically the ones that benefit you and your team.
The ones that I recommend are UAV and Counter-UAV. Using these repeatedly throughout the match will guarantee you stacks of +5 points at every moment of their uptime, as long as your opposition doesn’t strike them down from the sky or disrupt them.
To further maximize this method, try deploying a Squad Link field tool on the map to gain additional points from them and their gadgets. This mainly works well in objective-focused modes, especially Hardpoint and Domination, where you can place these near capture zones.
Overall, by using this method, you can earn a lot more score than the traditional way, generating a bit more XP at the end of your matches.
Black Ops 7 Endgame Mode
One of the newest additions not just in the game but also in the Call of Duty franchise in general is the Endgame mode, which you unlock after completing all eleven missions in the Black Ops 7 campaign.
This is a brand-new mode where you can endlessly take down enemies of the Guild across the ruinous city of Avalon with up to 32 players in a single lobby, divided into eight groups of 4-man squads. You can roam around the map and complete various missions by challenging bosses and other entities like zombies.
The best part is how it’s strictly PVE—no worrying about other players like a battle royale. Plus, you can easily farm XP here for both your account in Black Ops 7 and for the weapons themselves. Meaning you can level up most weapons here and then go back to Multiplayer to use them with their unlocked attachments.
