Netflix is set to implement a second price increase in roughly a year. Variety reported that the streaming giant will raise prices by $1 to $2 for its plans in the United States.
As a result, the standard plan with ads will go from $7.99 to $8.99. The standard plan without ads is now $19.99 instead of $17.99. Finally, the Premium subscription offering UHD resolution with HDR and no ads is $26.99, up from $24.99 before this increase.
These new prices will apply to both new and existing subscribers starting this Thursday, March 26, 2026. While this new pricing policy currently applies only to the U.S., it will be important to monitor Netflix’s European rates in the coming weeks.
