FireFly Studios has kept its promise and announced Stronghold 4 for PC. The game will be released in 2026, and it will get a free demo on Steam on June 23.
The city-building strategy game is a narrative prequel to the original title. It will feature a cinematic campaign with 22 missions, as well as castle customization and new siege techniques. The medieval warfare mechanics have been improved.
Also worth noting is the skirmish mode against eight AI-controlled opponents.
