During the week dedicated to video game industry announcements, the press and content creators had the opportunity to try out several upcoming titles. This was the case, for example, with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. The remake of the first game is set to release on February 12, 2027.
Thanks to the VGC website, we can check out some additional gameplay clips. Furthermore, previously unrevealed details have also been shared. For example, Lara will be equipped with a grappling hook that will make exploration smoother in linear environments that are nonetheless packed with secrets. To uncover these secrets, a scanner will be made available to our adventurer.
Still on the topic of her gear, the famous archaeologist will have her iconic dual pistols with unlimited ammo at her disposal. She’ll be able to dodge, perform flips, or even roll during combat. As for new features, there’s a light RPG element. By collecting items, players will earn skill points to spend on a talent tree.
As a result, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will offer greater fluidity compared to the original game, with an even more agile Lara Croft. She’ll be able to perform high-flying jumps and fill a concentration meter by dodging at the right moment. Once full, the meter lets you trigger bullet time during combat.
