Despite having been gone since its announcement in December 2024, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet may be near done. In fact, Naughty Dog is currently recruiting for positions that typically arise toward the end of production.
On its website, the California-based studio is seeking QA testers in several languages. These roles involve proofreading non-English text, identifying and resolving issues, and creating and executing test plans. There are plenty of tasks involved in these temporary contracts.
Generally, these language-specific QA testers are brought on board as a game’s development nears completion. Thus, some believe that Intergalactic is not far from the finish line and could be released around mid-2027.
Of course, we must take this with a grain of salt until Naughty Dog makes an official announcement.
