Razer reveals limited edition Street Fighter 6 Kitsune featuring Ryu, available for pre-order

Razer has unveiled the Kitsune Ryu Edition, a limited-edition leverless fight stick built around Ryu from Street Fighter 6.

Pre-orders are live now at Razer.com and RazerStores, with shipping expected around July 10th, priced at $319.99.

What is the Razer Kitsune?

The Kitsune Ryu Edition is a cosmetic and thematic take on Razer’s existing Kitsune all-button arcade controller. There’s vibrant red accents and Ryu-themed artwork printed around the edges of the pad. Outside of that, it’s the same old Kitsune Razor offers.

On the technical front, the controller uses a Quad Movement Button Layout in place of a traditional joystick. Razer also uses low-profile linear optical switches to handle the inputs themselves. Those faster keystrokes should mean that ever more competitive actions speed designed for fast, responsive actuation suited to the kind of precise footsies and whiff punishes that define high-level play. There’s also Razor Chroma if you’re still interested in RGB lighting too.

The Kitsune Ryu Edition is available exclusively through Razer’s own channels, so no third-party retailers. At $319.99 it sits firmly in the premium bracket, but the Kitsune has built a strong reputation in the fighting game community since its original release, and a limited-edition Street Fighter collab is likely to move quickly. It’sq realistically on $20 more than the base black versions. If you were in the market for one, then the Street Fighter collaborations is a nice touch.

The timing of the reveal is no coincidence. EVO 2026, one of the biggest fighting game community events on the calendar, currently running in Las Vegas this past weekend. Our own Olivia attended the event too with some content to come from that no doubt. It’s by far one of the most visible moments in the FGC calendar to drop a new piece of kit. For Razer, it’s a smart way to put the Kitsune back in front of the exact audience most likely to buy one. The question is, is it worth $319.99? Well, that’s for you to decide kids.
