The Coming of Age quest in The Lonesome Guild focuses on finding Mauhen’s father, who has been out of his life ever since he was a little kid. Completing this quest will earn you the Wishing Well achievement.
Since this quest isn’t considered part of the main story, you’ll have to go out of your way to complete it. However, it would be wise to complete it as soon as possible, as the reward is a powerful trinket that can enhance Mauhen’s battle capabilities.

How to Start the Coming of Age Quest
The Coming of Age quest can be started after beating Khaibit in the Spiral Tower. Khaibit is the final boss of the Spiral Tower, so you’ll have to reach the very top of the building before you encounter him.
Once you defeat this boss, your party will return to Barr’Hondus, and the Coming of Age quest can be accepted by speaking to Mauhen. Mauhen can be found on the west side of the camp.
How to Complete the Coming of Age Quest
The first objective of the Coming of Age quest in The Lonesome Guild is to meet Ariast at the Spiral Tower. Ariast can be found in the room of the Spiral Tower Hall fast-travel point.
Speak to Ariast, and he will mention that there is a present for Mauhen in the restricted area of the Spiral Tower. Luckily, this “restricted area” is nearby and can be found by going through the door on the left side of the Spiral Tower Hall.
Once you enter the restricted area, take the first right to teleport to a new location. Next, take the staircase that leads upward, next to the red fog of loneliness.
Continue forward until you reach an enemy encounter and defeat them in combat. This fight is pretty challenging, so I recommend bringing your best party members.
After defeating the enemies, you can proceed to the set of stairs in the back of the room that leads to a treasure chest. Open the chest to earn the Ornate Case and then return to Ariast in the Spiral Tower Hall to complete this step of the quest.
How to Find Uadurshedu
The final step of the quest is to find Mauhen’s father in Nunuit Town. The fastest way to reach his location is to fast travel to the Orbital Port campsite and then head west to where the ships are docked.
At the northernmost docking station, you will find Uadurshedu, Mauhen’s father. If you’re having trouble finding him, check out the map below, where the red arrow indicates his exact location.
Once you find Uadurshedu, speak to him and exhaust his dialogue to complete the Coming of Age quest in The Lonesome Guild.
Coming of Age Quest Rewards
Completing the Coming of Age quest in The Lonesome Guild will reward you with 300 experience points, the Star-shaped Medallion, and 6 Relationship Points for Mauhen.
While Relationship Points make a huge difference for each character in how they perform in combat, the most notable reward here is the Star-shaped Medallion. This equippable item increases magic by 10%.
Better yet, if Mauhen equips the Star-shaped Medallion, not only does he earn an increase of 10% for magic, but his skills will also drop healing bubbles, which heal allies that pick them up. This is extremely helpful for keeping your party members’ health bar filled.
