Development on Destiny 2 officially ended on June 9. Launched in September 2017, the online FPS has been around for nearly nine years, or nearly 12 years if you count the first game.
To thank the players who took part in this epic journey, Bungie has released a video on YouTube. It highlights some of the saga’s greatest moments through cutscenes and gameplay footage, all set to a moving soundtrack.
While no new content will be released in the future, Destiny 2 will of course remain playable on PlayStation, XBOX, and PC. Destiny 3 is not currently in production.
