The Watch Dogs franchise may not be completely dead yet. Insider Tom Henderson mentioned the existence of a project during a podcast on the Insider Gaming channel.
According to him, Ubisoft is currently working on a kind of Director’s Cut of Watch Dogs: Legion with new content, including a Night Mode. Motion capture sessions may be taking place right now.
Henderson adds that he doesn’t understand why the French publisher has embarked on such a thing. Watch Dogs: Legion was released in 2020 and allowed players to play as anyone in a futuristic London.
