Publisher Sony and developer Santa Monica Studio have announced God of War Laufey, a new entry in the God of War Norse Saga.
Showcasing 20 minutes of gameplay footage, we got to see Kratos’s wife become a new playable character. Faye finds herself in the afterlife of the gods.
We’re quickly introduced to Sekhmet from the Egyptian pantheon of gods, as well as a man who looks like a Chinese mythological figure. The armor of surrounding characters also appears inspired by disparate cultures, implying we’ll see a mishmash of mythologies represented, which the game’s description confirms.
