Studio Wildcard pulled off a shadowdrop with ARK: Dragontopia this Friday, July 3, 2026. The expansion for ARK: Survival Ascended is priced at €29.99 on PS5, XBOX Series, and PC.
This DLC grants access to the legendary dragon Eclipsar Umbra, which players can tame and use in combat. It also features a dragon skill tree that offers a new progression path designed to enhance the power of these creatures. Additionally, the Drake’s Claw Grappling Hook is a brand-new accessory that allows players to move through the air. A draconic armor set is also included.
It’s worth noting that additional content is also planned for the coming months. For now, the Steam reviews for the expansion are “mostly negative”, with users claiming that the new features are to few and far between for the €30 price tag and mentioning optimization issues related to the base game.
