Last October, we learned that a brand-new installment in the Shantae series was in development. This platformer franchise debuted in 2002 on the Game Boy Color.
At Anime Expo in Los Angeles, WayForward confirmed that this new installment will launch in 2027. No further details have been provided at this time. The best-known title in the series is Half-Genie Hero, which was released in 2016 on consoles and PC.
