Like most new AAA games, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will take advantage of the PS5 Pro’s capabilities. Thus. Sony has detailed the optimizations that will be included in this version starting July 9.
On Sony consoles, Ubisoft’s remake will feature three different graphics modes. The resolution is upscaled to 4K in each mode. The PS5 will offer a Performance mode at 60 FPS with standard ray tracing. Both the base console and the PS5 Pro will provide access to a Graphics mode (30 FPS, extended ray tracing) and Balanced mode (40 FPS, extended ray tracing). As for the Performance mode on the Pro, it will also run at 60 FPS, but this time with more intensive ray tracing.
Of course, the PS5 Pro will have its own advantages, including better visual quality thanks to support for the latest-generation PSSR. Ray tracing will be enhanced on this console, with the inclusion of global illumination and specular reflections. Expect more detailed lighting effects and more realistic reflections, all while maintaining optimal performance. Hair rendering will also be improved on the PS5 Pro.
In any case, immersion will be taken to the next level, the ocean will be richer, and the world will feel more alive than ever.
