Publisher Koei Tecmo, known for franchises such as Dead or Alive, Dynasty Warriors, and Ninja Gaiden, is working on something completely new.
We learned of this game, tentatively titled Fuji, through the IP360 program launched earlier this year by the Japanese government, which provides financial support for original franchises developed in Japan.
Of course, we know nothing about Fuji. The game’s listing includes an extremely vague description.
“Leveraging Koei Tecmo Games’ expertise in East Asian-themed visuals and action games, the company will develop a brand-new IP with the goal of achieving worldwide success and expanding the IP into a wide range of media starting with the game.”
