As a “Stop Killing Games” bill moves forward in California, publisher 2K has announced Lego 2K Drive from developer Visual Concepts South is getting delisted from digital storefronts on the game’s three-year anniversary, with multiplayer online support to wind down next year, with servers shutting down on May 31st, 2027, according to IGN.
Lego 2K Drive is an open-world racing spin on the Lego IP that takes players to Bricklandia. With over 1,000 unique Lego pieces at your disposal, players can build any vehicle to drive around the world through the game’s multiple regions as they race their way to winning the grandest prize of them all, the Sky Cup Trophy. While players can race against friends in multiplayer, Lego 2K Drive also offers single-player options, including an offline two-player split-screen mode, which is also available online, for the time being.
Lego 2K Drive originally launched on May 19th, 2023, for PC, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, and received 73s on Metacritic and OpenCritic. Players who haven’t had a chance to pick up Lego 2K Drive have the next couple of days to get it before the game is gone for good; it is currently priced digitally at $19.99.
