Developer HONKI Games has officially announced Noir Bloom and is launching on PC via Steam in 2027, according to Gematsu. Looking at the developer’s Steamdb page, Noir Bloom looks to be HONKI Games’ debut title as a game developer which is described as a high-octane 2D action game.
Noir Bloom puts players in the shoes of former assassin, Kow Wing better known as the White Wraith as they are pulled back into the world they left behind after a crime lord kidnapped someone precious to the game’s protagonist. Players will embark on a journey featuring “adrenaline-fueled gunfights and skull-crushing close combat collide in a neo-noir rhapsody.”
At the heart of Noir Bloom‘s 2D action gameplay is a robust gun-fu system that will see players use their speed to combat enemies with a melee fighting style, use disarm techniques to gain a new weapon, chain your combos to get even more of an upper hand, and more.
