Nintendo has confirmed the arrival of a new free update for Hyrule Warriors: Chronicles of the Seal on Switch 2.
This patch 1.0.3 will be deployed on Thursday, December 18, 2025. It will notably introduce the Taboo difficulty mode. This mode will offer even more challenging battles that will allow players to earn special rewards.
Several Battle and Hyrule Challenges will also appear on the map. In addition, there will be new skills, a weapon called the Forbidden Sword, battles, and fixes.
Finally, there’s Phantom Mode. After completing a battle, you may face more powerful enemies. By defeating these opponents, you will receive more resources.
